About Schooner Timberwind
After a successful career in the recording industry in Nashville, and a lifetime spent around small vessels, Capt. Bob chose to pursue a new dream sailing the coast of Maine on a traditional wooden schooner.
In addition to over forty-five years of sailing experience on San Francisco bay, ocean voyaging, and one design racing, Bob also served four years in the Maine Windjammer Fleet as deckhand, mate and then Captain, prior to owning the Timberwind. Along with family, and a professionally trained crew of four, he's commited to making your sailing vacation aboard Timberwind a safe and unforgettable adventure experience.
